Bright red colour; it is a light and supple wine dominated by small red fruits as raspberry and Morello cherry. The generous and ample mouth appears to be both delicate and long. Elegant and round wine with well-balanced tannins.


The village of Chorey-lès-Beaune is situated just at the north of Beaune and at the level of Savigny. The domaine cultivates many plots of different ages, accounting for a total surface of more than 8 hectares.


The surface areas are located on an alluvial soil of marl limestone and stony funds.

5-40 years according to the plots.


100% harvested by hand – Vatting time: about twenty days then ageing in oak barrels during 12 months – 3 to 4 months in stainless steel vats then bottling.


Around 40 000 bottles each year.


Thanks to its structure it can be consumed quite quickly. Some vintages can be preserved up to 10 years.


It can be served young or mature; it will join the group of all great Burgundies. Served in large-sided glasses, it will deliver intense aromas, as the shape of the container is favourable to its development.


It has to be served with delicate and light food as roast poultry, grilled meat or meat in sauce. Soft cheeses are also good partners.
